La Bomba
So after a long first day at the Tel Aviv school we had an excellent night planned. Many participants of our trip have had friends study abroad in Buenos Aires. Many of them, shout out Allie Silv, recommended attending La Bomba de Tiempo. This is a weekly, outdoor percussion concert of sorts. We had no idea what we were about to stumble upon. Dana, our fabulous coordinator arranged for...
Monday: First Work Day
Hi, this is Stacy Jacobson, junior trip participant. Yesterday was our first work day. We were up bright and early at 8 a.m. ready to start our community service project at the Tel Aviv School. We are working on making the play area usable and more inviting. Currently, there are soccer goals and a dead, overgrown garden. The schools that have been here in the weeks prior to us have done a great...

We were allotted a few hours of free time on Saturday, during which we...

We took the bus that was waiting for us to the hotel and dropped our stuff off and went to the Tel Aviv Jewish Day School where we will be doing our Tzedek (community service project). The principle gave us a tour of the school where we saw students from ages 8 months to the...

5 days until departure!
Hi everyone!
Welcome to the ASB Hillel Argentina blog! Much of the group met up this afternoon to discuss how to make our upcoming trip the most meaningful and fun for all of us throughout the week.
